Dr. Christian Rathgeber

Admitted to the bar since 2013

Dr. Rathgeber studied law at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and then completed his doctorate at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich on the topic of Criminal Compliance.

From 2007 to 2008 Christian Rathgeber worked as a research associate at Clifford Chance’s  Frankfurt office in the area of  Litigation / White Collar.

During his legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court in Koblenz where he graduated he spent tours at the German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer and at Clifford Chance in London and Frankfurt.

From 2011 to 2012 Dr. Rathgeber was a researcher at the EBS University of Business and Law in Wiesbaden.

In 2012 he graduated from the administrative sciences postgraduate studies at the German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer.

Since January 2013 Christian has been a contributor to Beck’s News Service of criminal law.

Dr. Rathgeber is a member of the Association for Commercial Criminal Law (WisteV), Transparency International Germany, the German-American Lawyers Association (DAJV) and the German-British Lawyers Association (DBJV).
