Simone Weber studied law at the Johannes Gutenberg - University in Mainz specializing in criminal law and criminal defence.

Her practical study periods included working in the criminal department of a London law firm. During her legal clerkship attached to the Higher Regional Court Koblenz, she worked for Knierim & Kollegen lawyers as well as Feigen · Graf Rechtsanwälte in Frankfurt am Main.

Since August 2015 Ms. Weber has been working at Knierim & Kollegen Rechtsanwälte, initially as a research assistant, then as an lawyer.

Simone Weber is completing her PhD at the University of Mainz at the Chair of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedural Law of Prof. Dr. Jan Zopf and working in this regard as a research assistant. In the winter semester 2015/2016 Ms. Weber was a lecturer in criminal law under the direction of Prof. Dr. Volker Erb, University of Mainz.

Moreover Ms. Weber is a member of the Forum of Young Lawyers of the German Bar Association (DAV), the Rheinhessen Association of Lawyers Mainz, and in the Association of Commercial Criminal Law (WisteV).

Since 2015 she has been a regular contributor to Beck’s News Service of criminal law.
